Don't miss out, it's going to be fun. We'll serve a pot luck dinner, we'll have a fantastic raffle, we'll have open flying and we'll wrap it up with a very nice fireworks show.
For this years raffle, the club has gone over and above to offer a large number of great prizes and you'll have the chance to win a float plane that you can use at this years float fly.
The party starts at 4:30 with dinner at 5:00. For the pot luck dinner we are suggesting that you bring enough food to serve at least 8 people.
In order to ensure that we have a good mix of different foods, please try to bring the suggested menu items below.
If your last name starts with:
A-K = Dessert (anything sweet!)
L-R = Main Dish (chicken, pizza, etc.)
S-Z = Salad (macaroni, potato chips, etc.)
If you are unable to bring a menu item per your last name, just bring what you can. No need to bring drinks, cups, ice, plates, napkins or flatware as these will be provided by the club.
The airport will be closed for about an hour around 6:00 for open flying. Flying an R/C airplane at a real airport is a neat experiance. Bring your plane and we'll try to accommodate as many pilots as we can to help entertain the crowd.
At around 7:00 we'll have our club meeting and raffle and later in the evening we'll watch the fireworks display.
This is an outdoor event so please bring your EZ-ups and chairs. Blankets are suggested for viewing the fireworks show.
The 4th of July party is a great club event to bring out the entire family to meet some of your fellow club members, so we hope to see all of you there.
Registered pilots will receive pilot packs customized for glow or electric power while supplies last.
The fun starts at 8:00am and it is free to watch and only $20.00 to fly. AMA is required to fly.
Note that we have completed a major upgrade to our flying field. We now have 150 feet of shade and a separate heli flight line with a 10 x 10 concrete helipad.
We'd love to see members from our local clubs come on out and have a good time with us.
Remember to bring your family and friends.

11 year old Anthony Platt of Riverside won the ParkZone Supercub which was donated by Airland Hobbies. We look forward to Anthony coming to the field to learn to fly and hope that this model provides a great amount of enjoyment. Below is a picture of Anthony collecting the big prize.
