I just wanted to bump this back to the top so all of you combat guys won't forget about our combat meet next month. We're only about 40 minutes away from you guys and we are expecting a great turnout. So get your combat planes ready and come chase some streamers.

Terry, great event.  And what a nice field and group of people up there in Hesperia.

Not sure where all the Corona guys were today, I was the only representative.  Yes it was hot, 99 when I left, but there is no such thing as a bad day for combat!  There was plenty of shade available and lots of cold water.

14 pilots flew 5 rounds of SSC and Open B.  The early part of the day was very pleasent, but after lunch the winds kicked up.  Funny, but I find combat in the wind is actually fun.

We had a great lunch of BBQ hamburgers and hotdogs and a very nice raffle.  This time I didn't win the MiG but won much needed glow plugs.
